JAG Plastix offers a growing portfolio of recycled products. Behind these sheet there is a special story, as JAG Plastix has a coôperation with the Danish company PLASTIX A/S - a 'cleantech company'. This partner secures the first of three sources of waste and turns 'plastic soup' into re-usable sheet.
This first source - PLASTIX A/S - is specialized in turning fishnets and ropes into high quality raw materials. These nets and ropes are washed, regrinded and made ready for re-use and turned into HDPE and PP sheet.
The second source is the re-use of used nets from the agricultural industry. These used nets are washed, regrinded and turned into HDPE sheet.
The third source are restpieces or cut-offs from industrial users. These cut offs are never used into a finished product and collected in containers to be regrinded and turned into new ABS, HDPE, HIPS, PC and Green Cast sheet. In other words this is circular use of raw materials.
JAG Plastix made clear choices regarding recycling and the circular use of raw materials. We co-operate with innovative companies like the Danish PLASTIX A/S. Another partner has received in July 2024 again an award, the 'Ecovadis Sutainability Award' and the first steps towards bio degradable plastics have been made.

HDPE and PP sheet made from used fishing nets and rpoes coming out of the oceans.
Thisreduces the CO2 emission by 78% compared to the use of new raw materials.

These HDPE sheet are a high quality product thanks to the use of used nets coming from the agricultural industry.

Made from industrial cut-offs
ABS, HDPE, HIPS, PC and Green Cast sheet made of industrial plastics that never made it to the end-user like rest pieces or off-cuts coming from the production process.

The material PMMA can be regrinded to its original raw material without any effects on the finished product, nor the optical, nor the mechanical properties are affected. This process is known as de-polymerisation and offerrs the possibility to re-use these high quality raw materials for the production of these sheet. This process can be repeated time after time without any loss of quality - it is circular !
RPC sheet - Recycled Polycarbonate sheet
RPC sheet are available at JAG Plastix - soon there will be more information abiut this new product. This product is a new step in the use of recycled plastics. RPS sheet are in addition of the existing program of recycled plastics at JAG Plastix. Other recycled sheet are available in ABS - HIPS- PS - HDPE. See above.
