Multiwall polycarbonate

Multiwall sheet

Multiwall sheet

Multiwall is a lightweight sheet with a cellular structure. The construction offers high impact strength and high light transmission combined with good insulation values. JAG Plastix offers Multiwall polycarbonate sheets with maximum impact strength and is available in different thicknesses, cellular structures and in a choice of colours. Besides the smooth surface structure, HAMMER FINISH can be chosen. HAMMER FINISH has a special aesthetic appearance produced by creating a textured surface. Multiwall is also available in a solar control version that helps to reduce temperature by letting the light pass but keeping the IR-radiation out. In general, our products have good insulation capability and all come with 10 years warranty. The sheet are made in the E.U. and comply with all E.U. regulations e.g. REACH and RoHS.

JAG Plastix' multiwall materials open up a world of architectural possibilities. Creative construction projects, such as stadiums and train station roof covers, complex dome structures, skylights and barrel vaults, or lightweight roofing for greenhouses are all made possible with  Multiclear UV.

The Multiclear-UV range of multiwall sheets offers a variety of thicknesses, geometries and colors, as well as various structures and surfaces suitable for overhead roofs of most any size. These high-tech polycarbonate sheets can be used in both open and closed constructions. All sheet designs meet high demands for functionality, economy and aesthetics. Furthermore,  Multiclear-UV sheet materials are easy to work with, granting the user complete design freedom.

These sheet comes  in three variations:

ULTRA Extra high or low weight and high light transmission. roof solution for terraces, carports, sport arena roofing, protective covers, big-size signage and advertising panels, illuminated wall cladding using multicoloured LEDs.  The sheets are used in a wide variety of applications, beside of building applications
HAMMER FINISH Special product with aesthetic appearance produced by creating a texture in the inner surface.
SOLAR CONTROL Multiwall sheet that allows the light transmission whilst stopping the heat building up.

Multiwall: make the right choice

Choosing the right Multiwall or channel panel depends on your application. Are we talking about flat or curved panels? For applications involving curved glazing, such as skylights, it is also important to always bend panels lengthwise and never widthwise. Another point is the load-bearing capacity of the material.

Tapes:

Transport tape, solid aluminium, solid breathable tape, or per forated breathable tape can be applied, with any dimension available upon request.

These kinds of tapes protect the sheet against filthyness, algaeus, and moisture.
