Cast acrylic sheet are also known under brandnames like Perspex and Plexi glass
There are two sorts of acrylic sheet: extruded and casted ones. Extruded sheet often have the reference 'XT'.
Cast sheet offer - compared to extruded sheet - more possibilities or flexibility.
It is relatively easy to add a colour, or another additif, like 'antibac' to the process, while for coloured extruded sheet there is often a high minimum order quantity (MOQ), up to 10 tons.
Cast is a bit more clear compared to XT and has the advantage that the sheet does not shrink/expand as much as XT when exposed to temperature differences. That is the reason why Cast is used for many of these kind of applications, like glazing for yaghts, vessels etc.

Cast is not only available in sheet, but in blocks too. These blocks are used for aquaria, swimmingpools, and for long lasting marketing with LED possibility.

Cast blocks are mainly used for applications where visibility is important e.g. aquariums, terrariums, but for swimmingpools as well. Cast weighs much less, is more transparent and is stronger compared to glass. These blocks are resistant to temperature changes (shrinking / expanding) and are weatherproof. In case of fire no toxic gasses are released.

Your colour can be matched in Cast, based on an example - even if the example is not Cast or another plastic. We 'match' the colour for you and if you are happy with the 'match', the production starts.
Another possibility in colours is that the sheet are produced according to a reference e.g. RAL.
